Puppy Program

Bear Necessities’ puppy program has been developed based on Sam’s work with puppies over the last two years. The goal of this program is to start you and your puppy off on the right foot/paw. This program includes extensive work with your puppy during their first 1 month to 1 year at home with the goal of developing confidence, clear communication, and consistency. This brand new program has been updated to include more socialization opportunities for your puppy at a fraction of the cost of the original program. Program Options

This program is built on a semester system. All puppies start with the same “Semester 1” plan before branching off into different semester options based on their growth and response to the Semester 1 program. Each semester is 4 weeks long designed to target the development areas of your puppy at that specific time frame, while taking into account your needs and the needs of each puppy as an individual.

Semester 1

Valued at $1,750

Week 1

  • 2x thirty minute in home private lessons

  • 2x homeschool sessions

  • 1x socialization outing

Week 2

  • 2x thirty minute in home private lessons

  • 2x homeschool sessions

  • 1x socialization outing

Week 3

  • 1x thirty minute in home private lesson

  • 2x homeschool sessions

  • 1x socialization outing

Week 4

  • 1x 30 minute in home private lesson

  • 2x homeschool sessions

  • 1x socialization outing

All semester 1 puppies can also attend weekly drop-in group trainings for free

2x thirty minute private lesson per week for four weeks

Private Lesson Program Non-Intensive

Valued at $300

1x thirty minute private lesson per week for four weeks

Socialization Outings Program

Valued at $900

1x thirty minute private lesson and 1x socialization outing per week for four weeks

Create your own custom program with any service type that best fits your needs

All semester 2-4 puppies can attend group drop ins for a 50% discount if there is room in the class

Continuing Education

Valued at $280/month (normally $300)

Puppy program graduates who have completed at least 2 intensive (2+x/week) or 3 non-intensive (1x/week) semesters of training are eligible for the continuing education program. This program includes a discounted rate on up to 2x hour long private lessons per month until your pup’s first birthday.
